Volunteering

Do you want to be involved in your child's school community?

There are numerous ways you can make an impact, meet new people and be involved. We appreciate any help you can provide!

In order to volunteer, there is a process to complete before you may do so.

Visit the school office to obtain the forms you need to complete or ask your child's teacher to send them home.

All volunteers must undergo a Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse Registry Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check obtained via your local Police Department or

RCMP Detachment.

If you wish to drive for a field trip, volunteers must complete a 'J Form' and ensure you have appropriate vehichle insurance.

Completing the process can take up to a month or more, so be sure to submit the forms well before the event you wish to volunteer for.

Opportunities include:

Coaching sports teams

Helping with Book Fairs

Helping with fundraisers

Helping with Holiday Shopping Party

Helping with Spring Fling

Chaperoning Field Trips

Helping with classroom acitivities

Simply contact the office, your child's teacher or a Home and School Association representative to let us know you want to volunteer.

Visit the Coldbrook Home and School Association link to learn more about getting involved!
